QC LGU Supports Digital Learning through Distribution of Tablets

The Quezon City LGU has been supporting the digital learning of students through the grant of tablets to students on the blended and online modalities.

One of the known challenges in the conduct of the education in new normal especially in public schools is the lack of gadgets that are essential in the continuation of studies of students especially in online and blended modes.

Answering to the call of assistance in the poorest sectors of students, the LGU has given units of tablets to the students in the beginning of the school year. The tablets also include SIM cards and monthly prepaid credits to reduce the burden of learning.

It is expected that through these efforts, learning in the new normal will be easier and less stressful for students, especially those coming from families hit hard by lockdowns of this pandemic.
