PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Thank you for choosing San Bartolome High School as the learning institution for your children.

The school administration, staff and teachers are happy to be of service to the young population of San Bartolome and adjacent barangays of District V.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no face-to-face instruction this school until a vaccine becomes available to ensure the safety of our children. Instead, we will be using modules and learning packets as default modalities blended with online learning through Facebook messenger platform, Google classroom and/or other preferred models of both learners and teachers.

Each model addreses the need of a diverse student population include those without access to computer or internet.
While distance learning cannot replace the face-to-face instruction, the school needs to make the students and staff feel safe emotionally before academic learning can occcur. In our Kumustahan meeting with students, many of our students, families and even staff have been traumatized by this global health crisis and their social and emotional well-being which will be addressed.

As of now, there is no plan that is perfect but we will see to it that we will be evolving and always ready to revise as situation changes and as we learn more about the best ways to address the needs of students and staff.

We will be coordinating closely with DepEd who are tapping the expertise, tested and best practices of other schools who are facing the same challenges in the entire country. Since May of this year, teachers have been reskilling and upskilling through trainings in the different platforms that will be used come 24 August 2020.

At San Bartolome High School we will rise up to the challenge of ensuring that despite this pandemic, we are going to have a good and unique school year. May God keep us all safe and I pray that we will heal as one.

Mabuhay ang bawat Bartolomenian!

Sincerely,
