Online enrollment for SY 2020-2021 has been continued by the Department of Education after the second deadline on 15 July 2020.
As a result of this, the online enrollment facility remains open. On-site enrollment is also possible. Schools have been directed to continue accepting late registrations until September.
From 1 June to 15 July, 1,087,074 students have been enrolled, representing 83 percent of the 1,312,447 actual learners registered in the last school year.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected the educational systems of countries around the world. As such, schools in the country are preparing to shift from face-to-face mediums to online and alternative modes as directed in the DepEd's Learning Continuity Plan.
