The president has announced on 29 May 2020 that Metro Manila will shift to General Community Quarantine on 1 June 2020 which means relaxation of certain restrictions imposed by Enhanced Community Quarantine since March of this year.

Under the current GCQ system, public transport resumed at a step-by-step and calibrated phases. Many more businesses and workers will be able to go out to work however the government continues to urge people to remain vigilant and stay at home if not necessary.

Meanwhile, despite the shift, classes in Metro Manila will remain suspended.

However, cards and other documents necessary for online enrollment for the month of June can be obtained by the students from their advisers the previous school year.

June also marks the beginning of Oplan Balik Eskwela and Brigada Eskwela, amidst the uncertainty of holding face-to-face classes for the upcoming year.
