Despite the ravaging pandemic, the Department of Education began the month with the opening of Brigada Eskwela 2021.

This year, the slogan "Bayanihan para sa Paaralan" highlights the application of knowledge and convergence of efforts to address the required health standards and social issues at home, in school, and in the community in the context of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, in San Bartolome High School, teachers from different departments, volunteers and administrative staff will take schedules in preparing the school for the school year. This is to maintain social distancing as well as prevent super spreader that may endanger the safety of the people within the school.

The National Schools Maintenance Week also known as the “Brigada Eskwela” is an annual activity led by DepEd where everyone in the school community – including the private sector – work together to prepare schools for the opening of the classes.
